Friends and Vellum - 04.28.14

Good Monday morning!  I'm back with another Friends of Speedy TV challenge.  Today, we are using vellum on our card.  I embossed my cowboy on some vellum and then created a scene for him to ride through beneath my vellum.  Some barbed wire, embossing and a sentiment back up this cowboy!  The only barbed wire in this cowboy's life is the unpredictable spring weather that makes planting a garden like rush hour traffic - stop and go!  During the making of this card we have had rain, sun and driving hail!  I'm really eager to get the garden all in so that we can take advantage of the nice weather that is predicted for later this week.  Hopefully, the seeds will get a jump start on sprouting!

Let's not forget that Mark's Finest Papers offers a free stamp set to one lucky participant.  This week, the set is called Halloween Selections
Oh man, this is a fun mini set that you can make tons of cards with!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a great card! I love that you did a scene behind the cowboy, too. With the vellum over it, it has such a cool look.
